about.
I am a filmmaker, photographer and storyteller, who currently lives in Surrey, UK.
I first picked up a camera at 15, taking playful photographs that eventually grew into a passion for documentary photography while travelling across Asia for most of 2017.
When I returned to England, I had a portfolio of work and a head full of questions about how to ethically tell stories of others while protecting their rights and maintaining their dignity. This led me to study a degree in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at the University of the Arts London.
In my second year of studies, the first lockdown was announced. In a time marked by distance and isolation, and in my own longing for connection, I began interviewing friends across the UK and overseas. I recorded our phone calls and created my first film, ‘Interconnected’, exploring loneliness during the pandemic. Thus, a seed was planted for my ever-growing love in filmmaking.
Since graduating, I have continued to develop my film practice across a range of roles, including cinematographer, second assistant camera, editor, and director. I have worked on a variety of projects, from serving as the sole cinematographer on the independent documentary ‘Colours in the Dark’ that took place in Czechia, to producing a photographic research project focused on Guildford’s zero-waste shoppers.
Alongside my documentary projects, I have worked with musicians to create EP visuals and have photographed live concerts, including Tony Visconti’s ‘Best of Bowie’ tour in Cambridge, UK. I have also freelanced for Sound Connection, a London-based organisation supporting young musicians, where I produced a fundraising film and worked as a photographer at their ‘Inclusive Practice in Action’ events held at Amnesty International.

2024- Guildford’s Zero-Waste Shoppers, Solar Sisters, Guildford, Surrey
For this series, I partnered with Godalming’s Green party councillor, deputy mayor and business owner of Solar Sisters cafe, Nina Clayton. I produced 10 portraits of Solar Sister’s regular shoppers at Guildford’s zero-waste shop, Solar Sisters. Nina and I asked them to write down what motivates them to shop sustainably. We later transferred their words on the typewriter and captioned them, below the customer’s black and white printed portrait. This photo series is currently on display at Solar Sisters.
2022- Oikos Exhibition, Hastings, Sussex
I worked on the event designs and co-managing the social media communications and content for Oikos’ first show, where I also exhibited my own documentary short film in response to their briefing surrounding the term ‘Oikos’.

Screening of ‘The Bramwell Sisters’ at my graduation show.
